"I'd say there's an 85-90% chance I go to NC State," said Dervil. "Those boys get down--and my brother plays for them. I get to go spend time with them, see what it's like. (Def coord) Coach (Reggie) Herring was at our spring game, and I impressed him a lot, being physical and coachable. I got an interception, I returned a punt (for a TD). He likes my footwork, and told me I'm the perfect kind of CB for NC State.
"(Playing with Guerlin) would be like both of us being back in high school again. I think it'd be best to be somewhere I could chill with him."
Florida, Florida St, Miami and the Mountaineers (offer) round out Guesley's top five. "At Florida, I know (soph WR) Kenneth Tookes. They're waiting on my ACT score before they offer me. The only difference (between NC State and Florida) is the time it takes to get there from my house: six hours versus two. Everybody there's really cool; they show me love. But blood is thicker than water.
"I lock the receivers down. I just get out and shut them down. I'm working on getting bigger, faster, stronger. We lift as a team every Monday and Thursday, and I'm always the first one to get there and the last one to leave. I'm trying to lower my 40 time to 4.3."
