Wolfpack Lands South Florida Quarterback

NC State has landed their third commitment of the 2005 recruiting class, and it comes from one of the country's top quarterback prospects.

Fort Lauderdale (Fl.) quarterback Mike Greco committed today to NC State according to his mother.

"Mike committed to NC State today," she said. "NC State offers everything he's looking for in a school. He enjoyed his visit when he was up there and is just very comfortable with NC State."

Greco, who may be the most athletic quarterback in the country, likes that NC State prefers to keep him at quarterback.

"That was definitely a big factor," his mother said. "He just loves their offense and they pass so much that he really fits in with them. He's a competitor and wants to play quarterback."

Mike chose NC State over offers from Auburn, Iowa, Rutgers, and Boston College among others. Programs such as Florida State, Miami, and Georgia were also pursuing the talented signal-caller.

Stay tuned for more from NC State's newest football commitment, Mike Greco.
