N.C. State's next scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday, but that doesn't mean the competition for the starting quarterback job is on hold until then. Candidates Jay Davis and Marcus Stone compete every day in practice. "Every day we come out with the attitude that we're competing with one another," Davis said. "It's like a game every practice.
