Dervil Enjoys Visit to NC State

N.C. State, who opened their season with a home win against Richmond, recently played host to quite a few recruiting targets this past weekend.

Jacksonville (Fla.) White CB Guesly Dervil was among those recruits, taking great appreciation for the aggressiveness of the Wolfpack defense.

"I enjoyed watching the game," stated Dervil. "The boys came out there played right and flew around and hit people. It's a good environment, but everywhere you go everybody shows the college love so every game you go to is going to be thick." Given the fact that his brother Guerlin plays linebacker for N.C. State, many consider Dervil a Wolfpack lean. However, Dervil says that might not be the case.

"The way it looks, it looks like NC State is in the lead, but I don't know," stated Dervil, who owns 20 offers. "But I don't really have any favorites."

Dervil's upcoming schedule in regards to recruiting is completely empty, as he figures to focus only on his senior season. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder plans to pickup with recruiting after his season concludes.
