"My dad was highly impressed," he added. "He kept looking at State's defensive ends and tight ends and couldn't believe how big they are. We talked with Coach Diaz and Coach Stroud a lot."
Brown has also been entertaining nightly phone calls from the colleges recruiting him since the contact period began and recently an SEC power jumped into the mix with an offer.
"All the schools that have offered, most of them have called and last Friday I got an offer from Georgia," Brown said. "I have fifteen offers now."
"I have a list of six that I'm thinking about," he added. "North Carolina, NC State, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Tennessee, and Miami. I like Georgia too, but I don't know too much about them right now."
Although he's uncertain of his next unofficial visit, Brown hopes to begin arranging his official visits in the near future.
"Right now I don't have any other unofficial visits lined up, and I'm starting to line up the officials."
Does he have a timeframe for reaching a decision?
"I want to decide around Christmas," Brown said. "It's been a long process and now I think I can see everything play out."
