Quote of the Day:"We've got to put it behind us. It was an emotional game. The finish was emotional. It was draining and we're still drained. None of us got much sleep. We've got to put it behind us and go on. It won't be easy, but we've got to do that." - Chuck Amato

N.C. State coach Chuck Amato said Sunday that no formal protest or complaint had been filed with the ACC office over a disputed call late in North Carolina game. The Tar Heels won 30-24 Saturday, but only after an apparent touchdown by the Pack's T.A. McLendon was negated. North Carolina videotape showed T.A. McLendon's knee touching the ground at the 2-yard line on the third-to-last play of UNC's 30-24 victory over N.C. State, Coach John Bunting said Sunday. Replays on WTVD, which broadcast the game on digital cable, and other stations were inconclusive. It was certain that linesman Mike Owens signaled an N.C. State touchdown with 24 seconds left and that the scoreboard had been changed to 30-30. But line judge Rick Page pointed at the ground as he ran toward the pileup, meaning that he was signaling that McLendon was down before the ball crossed the goal line. Read More
