Two Visits Set for Todd

Elizabethtown (Ky.) Quarterback Chris Todd is having a strong senior season, and in a few weeks he "officially" begins the recruiting process.

"I'm going to NC State for my first official visit when they play Miami," Chris Todd said. "After that I have one with Texas Tech two weeks later. Those are the only two I've scheduled right now."

Todd has had a strong senior season for Elizabethtown, leading them to a 7-1 start.

"We're playing well," he said. "We want to finish the regular season strong and do well in the playoffs again."

On the recruiting scene, his list remains the same, with NC State, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma on top.

"I probably like those three the most right now," Todd said. "Memphis and Cincinnati are the others who are on me hard."

Todd claims offers from NC State, Texas Tech, Memphis, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, and North Carolina. He says that while Oklahoma hasn't offered, they are showing heavy interest.

NC State offered following Todd's performance at this summer's camp, and they'll have the first chance to impress next weekend when he visits for the Miami game.

"NC State has been in contact with me and have been calling regularly," he said. "My first official visit will be to NC State, so I'll have a chance to really check them out in a few weeks."

At first he wanted to decide prior to his senior season, but now Todd has pushed back his verbal date for the time being.

"I was planning on it early on, but now I'm not so much in a hurry," he said. "I want to take a few visits before making my decision."

We'll have more from Chris Todd following next week's official visit.
