    Tony Bethel spent last year learning, watching and above all, waiting. He was the member of the N.C. State basketball team that few people knew about, because he was sitting out the season under NCAA transfer rules. Bethel left Georgetown after two seasons and decided to join former high school teammate Levi Watkins with the Wolfpack. The junior is expected to give N.C. State the luxury of having a true point guard for the first time in recent memory. Read More

    He looks so comfortable now, it's easy to forget just how precarious things were for N.C. State quarterback Jay Davis just three weeks ago. Davis was a model of efficiency against Maryland, throwing numerous key passes in windy, rainy conditions against a stout Terrapins defense. Even in the loss to UNC, Davis rolled up impressive numbers, completing 22 of 28 passes for 273 yards. In the second half of the Wolfpack's win over Wake Forest, he was almost perfect. Read More
