Todd Down to Two

Kentucky native Chris Todd is one of the better southern signal callers in a year where finding quality quarterbacks has been tough to come by.

He has already narrowed his list of schools down to just two final contenders and a decision might be coming sooner rather than later.

"I really like N.C. State and Texas Tech as my top 2. Both of them have offered me, and I'm really not looking at anyone else right now" Chris Todd said.

What does he like about the Wolfpack and Red Raiders respectively?

NC State: "I like the school. I like the coaching staff. I like the offense they've got over there. The football program is coming up. It's just a lot of things."

Texas Tech: "I definitely like the offense they've got down there. The coaches seem really good. I'm going to take a trip down and check it out."

Does Todd have any official visit plans?

"I took my official to N.C. State when they played Miami and I go to Texas Tech this week. I may take a few more, but I don't know yet."

Might we expect a decision from the Bluegrass standout after he returns from the Lonestar State?

"I might commit early. After this visit I'll be able to compare the two and I may decide after that. I'm just not real sure right now."

Could Raleigh's closer proximity to Todd's home be the decisive advantage that the Wolfpack needs to steer him away from Lubbock?

"Distance is kind of a factor for me. I'm just looking for the best situation and the best school though."

When asked about his senior stats, the humble QB struggled to even garner a guess at what he may actually have.

"Man, what do I have? I know I have 30 touchdown passes for one. As for yards, I'm not real sure but I think it's like 2,000 and something."
