    Players to Watch

    NC State
Julius Hodge-- Wolfpack guard kicks off what should be a strong senior season tonight against the Broncos. He'll look to get involved early and put on a show for the Wolfpack fans in attendance.

    Fayetteville State
Donell Williams -- "L.A.," as Williams is called by Bronco fans, is a preseason All-CIAA pick after averaging more than 17 points per game his junior year. He's a great shooter and passer, and teams with Terrence Brown to form what's probably the CIAA's top backcourt.

    Additional Notes

  • Fayetteville State is the preseason favorite to win the CIAA's Western Division. The Broncos finished last season 18-11 and return three starters from the 2003-04 squad.

  • Ilian Evtimov will not play for the Wolfpack. The red-shirt junior is still recovering from offseason knee surgery.

  • NC State enters the season ranked #19 in the Associated Press Men's Basketball Poll.

  • This is NC State's first exhibition game of the season. The Wolfpack will also face St. Augustine's on November 9th before starting the season in the BCA Invitational held at the RBC Center.

  • Freshmen Andrew Brackman and Cedric Simmons should receive plenty of playing time tonight with Evtimov not able to play.

  • Tickets are being sold for $10 at the door.
