'I Can't Go Wrong With Either'

Elizabethtown (Ky.) quarterback Chris Todd tripped to Texas Tech this weekend for his second official visit after checking out NC State two weeks ago.

"I liked it over there," Chris Todd said. "I think everything went good. They talked about if I would commit, but they didn't press about it."

Todd had mentioned that he could be ready to make a decision following his visit to Texas Tech. Is that still the case?

"I'd like to, but there's a lot of things I like about both schools," he said. "I'm just going to have to sit down with my parents and talk about it. Just to kind of find out what we are going to do."

"I don't know if I'm going to go anywhere else or not, but those two schools are definitely at the top of my list."

Both Texas Tech and NC State are not too close to Todd's Elizabethtown, Kentucky home. However, Texas Tech is considerably further away. Will distance play a factor in his decision?

"I really don't know how much of a factor it will be," Todd said. "I'll probably fly home from either so I don't know if it will matter."

Elizabethtown High School began the playoffs last week with an opening round 55-7 victory. Todd passed for four scores in the opener and has not passed for an amazing 34 touchdowns and just four interceptions on the season.

Because he already plays in a wide-open passing attack, Todd feels comfortable with NC State and Texas Tech's style of play. He believes

"They both have good systems, and they have good programs," he said. "I really like their offenses, and I already know a lot of the reads. I can't go wrong with either."

With a decision possibly coming from Todd in the near future, is there a leader for his services?

"No, not right now."
