Here are a few observations from N.C. State's 60-53 win over Purdue at the RBC Center last night. Julius Hodge – Another terrific game by the ACC's top player. When State struggled to score he went into one-on-one mode on many possessions and got results. He does so many things well yet his floor game might not be respected as it should by fans from other schools. He's such a smart player and does virtually everything well. The weakest part to his game is the release on his shot but the ball usually goes in so nobody's complaining. Read More

Tiger Source Editor Mickey Plyler is reporting that head coach Tommy Bowden has decided not to retain Clemson defensive coordinator John Lovett and offensive coordinator Mike O'Cain. Currently, the Tigers rank 109th out 117 Division IA schools in total offense. The defense after a slow start, currently ranks 31st in scoring defense and 29th in total defense. Read More
