Four-Star OL Schedules NC State Visit

It seemed like only a matter of time, but he finally did it.

This past Thursday, Brian Roche of Don Bosco Prep officially decommitted from Rutgers. The four-star prospect softened his verbal pledge to the Scarlet Knights about a month ago after committing in the summer.

"Basically, I'm not really sure about them," explained Roche. "And I want to take my visits without having the strings of a commitment attached. I'm going to consider them with all the other schools in the end, but I don't know it kind of depends."

Roche began to take his official visits this past weekend, fresh off his decommitment. He has a total of three scheduled with the final two slots up for grabs.

"I just got back from Michigan State and I'm going to Louisville this weekend," commented Roche. "I have a visit to N.C. State scheduled for the 14th [of January]. The last two I haven't scheduled yet. I'm thinking about a bunch of schools, Virginia Tech, I may actually take one to Connecticut. It just depends on how everything works out and who comes in and talks me and who I like."

Currently Roche isn't claiming a leader, but is considering Louisville, Michigan State, N.C. State, Virginia Tech, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, and Purdue. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman is, however, keeping his door open for any interested coaching staff that would like to throw their hat into the ring.
