Shrine Video: Baker, Neal in Action

NC State targets J.C. Neal and Toney Baker starred in this past weekend's Shrine Bowl and here are exclusive highlights of both players in action.

Game MVP J.C. Neal showed off his speed during each of the practices from his South Carolina strong safety position, but his ability to read the quarterback helped him land the top honors.  Throughout the game, Neal's versatility was apparent in run support, blitz packages, and pass coverage.  Only a slight stumble kept this star out of the endzone on his first interception return.

While some were unimpressed by his forteen rushes for 52 yards, it was the manner in which the yardage came for running back Toney Baker.  With just two holes all day, both ended up with over ten yards each, Baker made people miss with subtle, though deadly, moves and broke at least two tackles on each of his runs.  He was also the best play on either team throughout the practices. Wolfpack center Andy Barbee is also in these clips at center. He is wearing #63.
