  • St. John's sophomore guard Daryll Hill leads the team in scoring, averaging 17.9 points per game, which is fourth in the BIG EAST ... He is leading the team in assists with 5.12 per game, fourth in the league. Hill handed out a season-high eight assists in the loss at Hofstra on December 11.

  • Junior forward Rodney Epperson, who scored a team season-high 26 points against Marist, is second on the team in scoring with 14.1 points per game and tied for second in rebounding, grabbing 4.6 boards per contest, has been suspended by St. John's and will not play against the Wolfpack.

  • Sophomore center Lamont Hamilton is third on the team in scoring, with 13.5 points, and leads the team in rebounding, with 8.3 per game. He is fourth in the league in field goal percentage (60.5%) and sixth in rebounding. He set a career high with 24 points (11 rebounds) against Virginia Tech, registering his first career double-double in the process. In the last five games, he is averaging 14.2 points and 10.0 rebounds, while shooting 60.0 percent from the field (30-of-50).

  • Freshman forward Dexter Gray is fourth on the team in scoring with 8.0 points and is tied for second on the team in rebounding, grabbing 4.6 boards per game

  • The Red Storm connected on a season-high 84.2 percent of their free throws (16-of-19) in the Marist win. They are second in the BIG EAST in free throw percentage, connecting on 73.2 percent (101-of-138) as a team. In the last three games. St. John's has averaged 15.7 offensive rebounds. They are averaging 10.6 per game this season.

  • Wolfpack guard Engin Atsur erupted for 17 second half points in the win over Columbia. Atsur had been in a scoring slump, but connected on 4-of-5 three-point attempts in the half.

  • Levi Watkins and Tony Bethel are expected to play against St. John's. Watkins (quad pull) and Bethel (flu) missed crucial minutes against Columbia.

  • Freshman Andrew Brackman was held to zero points against Columbia on just one shot attempt. Look for NC State to try and get him involved.
