Cameron Bennerman
On the game…

Right now is our first game of conference play and some of the guys roles on the team have changed and in the process of changing including myself. I don't know why we are choosing to do something like that now. I'm a coach able player so I am going to try to do my best to have 100% trust in what he is telling me. I don't know, but maybe that is why we lost--I don't know. It was a weird game and it was definitely a weird game for me.

On new individual role…
Coach wants me to be a more defensive minded player. I've been scoring well up to this point. I can say that changing roles definitely had an effect on my game.

On shot selection…
I feel like we could have got some of those shots in during a critical part of the game. We should have been a little bit more patient. You have to be more patient to get a win like that. I definitely wont get upset with any of my teammates for doing anything wrong. They have confidence in me and I have confidence in them and I'm sure they wouldn't do anything wrong on purpose.

Ilian Evtimov
Opening statement…
It was a terrible way to lose by one point on the road with a chance to win the game.

On the plan of the final play…
We wanted to penetrate and get in a one-on-one situation with a possibility to kick it out.

On if you had a shot on the final play…
I can't remember the play right now. Everything happens so fast. I'll have to look at it on tape.

On the game…
We turned the ball over in the first half and it hurt us. In the second half it was much better. We didn't do well on the boards and they dominated, consequently we lost. We did okay on free-throws.

On individual performance...
My game has progressed and I hope I can show it on the court. I hope I can continue to play well. I don't want to play good for a couple of games and then disappear. I want to keep up my game and help out my teammates.

On what you knew about Miami coming into the game…
We knew they had tremendous guards and we knew they were going to be the ones that would have to beat us. If we didn't play a good defensive game, they were going to beat us. We knew they had good forwards that could rebound the ball.

On the three-point shooting…
Our thing from the get-go was to get shots. Andrew made some threes and I made some threes.

On looking ahead to next game against Duke…
We definitely played better today than we have in the past two games. We are moving forward. We have Duke at home and then Georgia Tech. We will have a tough week in practice next week and we have to come prepared for the games. We have three losses in a row and we can't have anymore.
