4-star OL Makes Official Visit to NC State

OL Brian Roche is one of the nation's top offensive linemen and, this past weekend, made his way to Raleigh for an official visit with NC State.

OL Brian Roche (6-5, 280 pounds, 5.0-seconds in the 40) from Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, NJ is one of the nation's top uncommitted offensive linemen. The talented big man has already made official visits with Louisville and Michigan State. This past weekend, Roche made the trip to Raleigh for his third visit.

"The visit there was really good," said Roche. "I had a real good time and they were definitely impressive. I've still got a visit to Florida next weekend and then Notre Dame but State definitely helped their chances with that visit. I don't really have any favorites right now and am just trying to keep an open mind."

Roche told Don Callahan of Scout.com that he was impressed how the Wolfpack seemed to go the extra mile on every aspect of the official visit.

"The first thing that stands out to you, they kind of go out of their way in everything they do," he said. "Everything they do is a little better then the other schools just as far as the room you stay in, the place you eat, and that kind of stuff."

Roche is rated a four-star prospect and the No. 37 OL in the nation by Scout.com. He projects as a full academic qualifier and is being recruiting by OL coach Mike Barry for NC State.
