Baker, a running back from Jamestown, North Carolina, was one of just 58 players named to the Parade All-American team.
He joins Tennessee commitment Jonathan Crompton and Georgia commitments Joe Cox and Mohamed Massaquoi as the only players chosen from the state of North Carolina, and he is one of just nine tailbacks selected.
Baker, who starred for four seasons at Ragsdale High School, is the North Carolina career rushing leader with 10,241 yards, surpassing T.A. McLendon as the state's all-time rusher. He also boasts the No. 2 (3,411 yards) and No. 7 (3,030 yards) single season rushing totals in NC football history.
The 5'10, 220 pound standout could be the fourth Parade All-American tailback on NC State's roster next season, joining sophomores Darrell Blackman and Bobby Washington and incoming freshman Andre Brown.
