Three Players To Not Return

NC State Assistant Athletics Director Annabelle Vaughan confirmed today that Maurice Charles, Chris Hawkins, and Roddy Long are no longer on the NC State football team.

NC State Assistant Athletics Director Annabelle Vaughan confirmed today that Maurice Charles, Chris Hawkins, and Roddy Long are no longer on the NC State football team.

"I can confirm that those three are no longer members of the NC State football team," Vaughan said.

Maurice Charles, a sophomore defensive end from Miami, Florida, tallied 10 tackles and two tackles for loss in six games this past season.

Chris Hawkins, a reserve wide receiver for the Wolfpack, had three catches for eight yards his sophomore year. The Henderson, North Carolina native also rushed for 32 yards on four carries.

A native of Hickory, N.C., Roddy Long played limited snaps during his red-shirt sophomore season for the Wolfpack.
