    The importance of a win over Florida State was undeniable in the North Carolina State locker room Thursday afternoon. Players knew the 70-54 victory was key to their NCAA tournament chances. Perhaps it even clinched a berth. And if they couldn't count on that much, then a win today over Wake Forest certainly would solidify their postseason plans.
