Junior to Watch- QB/ATH Alwan Lee
6-0, 180 pounds, 4.5-seconds in the 40
Booker T. Washington High School, Miami, Fla
At 6-0, 180 pounds, QB Alwan Lee may not possess the prototypical size of most division one signal-callers. However, in 2004 Lee proved to be one of the Sunshine State's most effective. On the year he completed 104 of 188 passes for 1,492 yards and 16 touchdowns while leading his team deep into the class 4A playoffs. Lee also chipped in 341 yards rushing and an additional four scores on 64 carries. In a state playoff loss to Seffner-Armwood High School last year, Lee threw for 302 yards and four scores while rushing for 157 yards in a 36-35 yard loss. While size may be a concern for some college recruiters, Lee is a solid athlete in the mold of former Pack WR Chris Hawkins and could ultimately project at several positions.
