Mechanicsburg (Pa) High School
QB Zach Frazer of Mechanicsburg (PA) High School is considered to be one of the "Big 3" QB prospects for Pennsylvania in 2005. Frazer, 6-5, 215 pounds with 4.8-second speed in the 40-yard dash possesses the size and speed that recruiters covet in a high school QB. Frazer has a big-time arm and the ability to make all the throws and in 2004, completed 285 of 441 passes for 3,685 yards and 27 touchdowns. He owns the state single season passing record and was named the Pennsylvania player of the year last year. Frazer was also named first team all-state. NC State has had great success recruiting Pennsylvania and look for the Pack to make a strong run at Frazer in 2005.

What Frazer likes about NC State- "I guess it's the whole package- coaching staff, location, academic opportunities and college atmosphere. Coach Amato and Cignetti have PA ties and a lot of experience and appear to value family. Coach Trestman - wow - I know I can learn from him! NC State is close enough for my family and friends to see me play and the weather beats PA's winter. (As far as academics)- I'm interested in teaching PE and/or Business Management and/or Industrial Design - haven't pinned it down - but I know the school I choose has to have all three for me to select from. Lastly, atmosphere - (they have) basketball, the beach, mountains, good size crowds and a chance to start early & play!"
Academics- Frazer sports a 3.1 GPA but has yet to take the SAT or ACT.
