Film Session: Kushner's Nasty

Bethlehem (Pa.) Catholic star Matt Kushner was considered a sleeper by most gurus after inking with NC State over Boston College in February. However, the two-way standout had a huge senior season, and here's your chance to catch him in action!

Name: Matt Kushner
School: Bethlehem (Pa.) Catholic High School
Position: Offensive Tackle/Defensive End
Vitals: 6'5/255/4.7

STRENGTHS: Kushner is a presence rushing off the edge and a high-motor prospect. He doesn't take a play off and is very disruptive. However, he could be even more impressive on offense where he's a dominating blocker. He has good athleticism and strength, and he also has the frame to add weight. Kushner could project at defensive tackle or offensive guard, depending on how much weight he adds while at NC State.

COACH QUOTE: "He had a tremendous year. What Matt has going for him is he's so athletic and has a great frame. Here's a kid that can run a legitimate 4.7 at 250-255 pounds. The thing about him is he has a frame to be a 300-pound kid. – Bethlehem Catholic assistant coach Dan Kendra

AMATO QUOTE: "When we first saw Matt, he was playing basketball and we could see that he is big and can run like the wind. He is really a diamond in the rough - he just has so much potential, and was coached really well fundamentally."

#77 OT Matt Kushner (Offense)
