Fells Scores 18 In Bama-Miss. All-Star Game

Fells, a 6'6, 205-pound wing from Shannon, started at shooting guard for the Mississippi All-Stars. He finished the night with 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field while knocking down 4-of-9 3-pointers from beyond the arc. He also grabbed five boards, while adding three blocks and two steals on the defensive end.

The Alabama All-Stars won the contest 84-79 behind the strong play of Vanderbilt signee George Drake. Drake finished with 27 points and six rebounds on 7-of-18 shooting from the field. He also hit 9-of-10 free throws and added three assists and three steals. Drake was named All-Star game MVP.

Yamene Coleman (Alabama) chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds for the Alabama All-Stars, and John David Gardner (UNC-W) added 13 points and six assists. Joey Cameron (Auburn) also had seven points and 11 rebounds.

Joining Fells in double figures for the Mississippi All-Stars was Roderick Ollie, who had 21 points and 12 rebounds to win team MVP honors, and Jacolby Davis who added 15 points and six rebounds. Cyrus McGowan (Arkansas) also chipped in seven points and eight rebounds.
