The N.C. State football team has improved its academic progress score by 23 points -- putting it over the NCAA benchmark -- according to corrected Academic Progress Rates released Monday. The Wolfpack program initially scored 912 based on 2003-04 numbers. The team's corrected APR is 935. That puts the team above the minimum of 925, which roughly equals a 50 percent graduation rate. After eight days off for finals, the NC State baseball team should be fresh and ready for action, and it will get plenty of it in the coming weeks.
