"It was great all around," Davis said. "Everything was great. The people that go to N.C. State, they're a great bunch of guys. I had a lot of fun walking around campus and seeing other players. The professors that I met were tremendous."
Davis, ranked by Scout.com as the No. 73 prospect in the nation, has been a hot commodity this spring. Villanova and Pittsburgh are his other two finalists.
Davis' ranking was enhanced by big time efforts at the IS8 in the Big Apple and various events up and down the East Coast this spring.
Davis confirmed to Scout.com that he would announce his decision at a press conference at 4 p.m. at his high school on Monday afternoon. Sources told Scout.com that barring a last minute flip-flop, Davis would become the Wolfpack's second recruit in the Class of 2006.
