NC State's first commitment in the class of 2006 came from New Jersey forward Dan Werner. Here's your chance to see him in action courtesy of High School Sports Media!

Name: Dan Werner
Hometown: Lincroft, NJ
Position: Combo Forward
Vitals: 6'7/220/16 ppg

Junior Season Stats: As a junior, Werner averaged 16 points, 7 boards and shot 36.3% from behind the arc (41-for-113). His team finished the season 26-3.

College Coach Quote: "He's a very solid, skilled four-three man. He's 6-7, maybe even 6-8 and has a big upside. He's fairly athletic and plays for a great high school coach. He really understands how to play the game. He can shoot it, pass it and plays fairly hard. He's an average player at this level. He's got good skills. I don't think he does anything great, but he's good at everything. He's a solid player." – Division I assistant coach

Werner Quote: "I'm versatile. If you put a big guy on me, I can go by him and if you put a smaller guy on me, I can go over him or post him up. I think the best part of my game is my passing ability. I know I need to work on my speed and quickness." - Dan Werner

Coach Quote: "He's a pretty complete player for his size and that's a legitimate 6-foot-7, 6-8 and 220 pounds. He can put the ball on the floor, he passes, shoots, takes it to the hoop, rebounds and plays defense. I think he's a pretty complete player. I think he has an upside and I don't think he's there yet." - CBA head coach Ed Wicelinski
