Julius Hodge * Rookie of the Year Runner-up

The Associated Press have counted their votes and checked their spelling. The results are in and Julius Hodge only received enough votes to be the runner-up for ACC Rookie of the Year. Georgia Tech's Ed Nelson was the ninth Yellow Jacket to win the award since its conception in 1976.

Nelson, the 6'7 forward received 37 votes from the 87 cast. Hodge had 31 votes. Also, Ilian Evtimov was listed as the fourth best rookie, even though he failed to make the All Rookie Team. Go figure that.
