Audio: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, NC -- NC State players Oliver Hoyte, Garland Heath, Stephen Tulloch, and Bobby Washington meet the media.

Bobby Washington (0:57)

"I thought the first day was very exciting. Everybody had a tempo going on out there. I thought today was very good."

"You have to be intense every play. If you don't be intense you are going to get hurt."

Garland Heath (2:32)

"I think my role will be just to make plays. I've been here a while on this defense, and I know pretty much everything."

"Miguel Scott is fast, he's good... he's a playmaker. DaJuan Morgan is a playmaker. J.J. Jones, he just knows the whole defense. Everybody is just awesome."

Oliver Hoyte (1:41)

"We were out there flying around, a couple of first day mistakes. All we can do now is go out there and improve everyday... offensively and defensively."

"First of all, I don't think the pressure is on the offense. I think the pressure is on the defense."

"Offensively, a great coach... a great coach can make a big difference. The schemes that he runs out there against us is pretty tough... creating mismatches. I'll be out there guarding wideouts. I don't think any defensive coach wants a middle linebacker 250-pounds covering a 180-pound wide receiver."

Stephen Tulloch (2:13)

"Lerue Rumph is a new addition to our corp, and he's getting better as well."

"We've got Garland Heath, he played a lot his freshman year... DaJuan Morgan, he played offense last year but he's a special player. Miguel Scott is a playmaker. Miguel Scott has to be on the field."

"People are concerned about our linebackers and safety depth, but we're okay."
