"After a long research and exciting process I am pleased to announced that I have decided to attend school and play football for North Carolina State University."
"I chose N.C. State for multiple reasons. Most importantly, my family and I feel that this school will not only allow me to reach my goals on the field but as importantly, in the classroom. The rankings of both the school and the football team speak of the high quality of an opportunity that I have been blessed with, and I feel best suits me as a student-athlete."
"As I looked at North Carolina State, many things jumped out at me. The world-renowned engineering program at N.C. State is moving into brand new facilities on Centennial Campus. This new campus will not only be an excellent learning center, but also a state-of-the-art research area, one that is as nice as I have seen in my copius campus visits."
"I believe that head coach Chuck Amato has put together a stable base for what could be one of the top programs in the nation. He not only recruits great talent, but great coaches. Quarterbacks coach/offensive coordinator Marc Trestman is one of these 'recruits.' He impressed me with his knowledge on the offensive side of the ball, as well as his knowledge of the quarterback position. His experience is extremely impressive."
"I took my visit and that kind of really put it over the top for me."
"One thing I will say is people might speak highly of Virginia's campus, Duke's campus... all of those, and I had never heard many great things about the NC State campus. When I went I found that it was really a great place."
"I feel that their campus is really pretty, it really is, and I think I will be extremely comfortable there."
"Really what I was looking for was a feel, I was looking for a feeling for the place that I was going to go, and I got that at N.C. State."
"Coach Sphire kept telling me that within five minutes of talking to [coach Trestman] he thought he was talking to me. He's a real cerebral guy. He knows how to do the football and academic thing as well which is important to me. He did get his law degree while being a [Graduate Assistant at Miami], and as you all know a G.A. does a ton of stuff, so he knows how to work through both of those."
