Scouting Report - April 6, 2002: (TSW Staff)
Yomi Ojo proved he is among the nation's best at the Nike Camp in Chapel Hill on April 6. He held his own and even surpassed most other offensive lineman in the skill tests and showed he had the ability to take on the best defensive lineman in the region.

He was impressive at all the stations. In particular, at the high step drill he was paired with a DB in a forty yard test. He matched the smaller player step for step. He was fluid in his moves and looked unstrained in the forty yard dash and the blocking drills. He had 18 reps in the bench press and lifted his 315 pounds 18" off the ground in the vertical jump.

His efforts caught the eyes of the Nike coaches as well. They credited Yomi as being impressive in the line drills.

Yomi, a solid student, has committed to the Wolfpack and plans to major in engineering. He is in his school's Robotics Club and enjoys the work of planning and constructing robots.
