'The State Show' Debuts Today!

RALEIGH, N.C. – Triangle Sports Talk announces the debut broadcast of The State Show for Tuesday, Aug. 30, hosted by Dan Mason live at The Sunnyside Too Oyster Bar in Garner, N.C.

The one-hour broadcast will begin at Noon every Tuesday and can be heard on Triangle Sports Talk 1090AM WTSB and via the Internet at www.trianglesportstalk.com. The show is set to feature a different NC State coach each week. Those in attendance of the live broadcast will have a chance to win two tickets to each Wolfpack home game, including the Virginia Tech, Clemson and North Carolina games.

Mason has worked on several programs for Triangle Sports Talk, hosting The Chris Corchiani Show, The Tailgater Show and several appearances on The Morning Sports Drive with Taylor Zarzour. Zarzour, who also serves as the station's programming director, said the combination of Mason and the overall concept of the show should provide Wolfpack fans with insightful discussion.

"Having a show that is totally dedicated to NC State athletics is something that is long overdue," said Zarzour. "Its purpose is to simply provide all State fans an opportunity to support their team, while listening to a coach, meeting some players, a chance to win tickets and eat wonderful food. We are ecstatic about adding this to our lineup."

Sunnyside Too Oyster Bar is located at 111 W. Main St. in downtown Garner. A restaurant menu, directions and specials are located on its website at www.sunnysidetoo.com.

Triangle Sports Talk plans to announce additional new local programs in the next week. All show replays and interviews can be accessed on the station website as well as a station programming calendar.
