Thoughts on if rising gas prices will limit the attendance for Sunday's game:
"The student-athletes are.. going to try and raise funds to help people down there in New Orleans, Mississippi, and Alabama. It's a heckuva lot more important than the price of gasoline."

Thoughts on Dwayne Herndon's move to offensive line:
"We just felt all along that he would be one of the guys that could come in there and help because he's a physical player."

"In your last year, to make that move... that's an unselfish person. He averaged probably 20 snaps a game on defense the last two or three years. We told him if it didn't work we'd move him back and he'd be on the depth chart where he was when he left."

Thoughts on T.A. McLendon being cut by the Atlanta Falcons:
"I feel for him... no doubt about it. He should be playing this Sunday in Carter-Finley Stadium. I don't know why he got cut down there but obviously they do. You have to ask them that."
