"Our prayers and thoughts are with all the folks who are going through this tragedy. Many of our student-athletes, coaches and staff have asked if they could do something to help, and I'm proud that they are willing to donate their time to this worthy effort." - Athletics Director Lee Fowler - The NC State athletics department has answered the call for help from the areas of our nation devastated by Hurricane Katrina. At Sunday night's football game against Virginia Tech, student-athletes from almost every one of NC State's varsity squads will be volunteering their time to collect funds for Hurricane victims.
