Wolfpack Hosting Three Recruits

It's starting to heat up on college campuses and this weekend marks the first "big" official visit weekend. Mix in some talented underclassmen and this holiday weekend becomes important for a number of schools!

The highest rated prospect making an official visit this weekend is Scout.com's No. 5 overall prospect, Brandan Wright. We'll see if all is "Wright" in Lexington this weekend as the Kentucky Wildcats take the first swing at one of the nation's elite.

Multiple schools have multiple prospects on campus and that's always fun. Over in Raleigh, the N.C. State Wolfpack plays host to the Virginia Tech Hokies and will entertain at least three prospects during the game. Top 100 forward Dennis Horner is joined by juniors Chris Wright (No. 30) and Donte Greene (No. 12).

Texas has two Top 100 kids on campus, one of them unofficially. Leading the way is Top 10 junior Jerryd Bayless who is on an unofficial visit as is big man Dexter Pittman. Cali's Patrick Christopher was going to visit this weekend but its been rescheduled for the following weekend.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach D.J. Augustin and JeJuan Brown, natives of New Orleans and Biloxi. We've heard that Augustin might have evacuated to Houston and have not heard any scuttlebutt on Brown, though we continue to try and make sure they both are ok. Visits to LSU and West Virginia are highly unlikely to take place.
