Pack Offers, Lead For Florida Wideout

Johnny Patrick is a good looking wide receiver prospect from DeLand High School in the state of Florida. He names a new favorite school.

"I like N.C. State the most right now. They're my favorite. They just offered like a week ago and their coach is telling me what I like to hear. They've been calling a lot and I haven't been talking to them like Georgia and some others," Johnny Patrick said.

Who else is he considering?

"I also like Louisville, Florida and South Carolina. Them and N.C. State are my top four."

What stands out about those schools?

Louisville: "I like the coaches and they have a young quarterback. I think I could play early."

Florida: "I went to 3 of their camps and Gonzalez is a good WR coach."

South Carolina: "Steve Spurrier. He just knows what to do.

Johnny attended the big in-state rivalry contest between the Noles and the Canes.

"I went to the FSU/Miami game. It was real good. That was my first college game, so I liked it a lot. The coaches there showed me a lot of love but I know they're stocked at wide receiver."

Patrick will attend another big rivalry game this weekend.

"I'm going to the Tennessee/Florida game this weekend. It's going to be a good game. I just want to go see what it's all about. They're both 2-0 so it should be pretty good."
