"I kept focused, a positive attitude about everything and stayed patient. I knew my time was come."

"I was happy... obviously happy for myself, and disappointed, upset for Jay because we are good friends. I just hate for it to happen this way."

"I wasn't sure. I just came in here... I'm pretty surprised."

"We haven't had too much time to talk, but we're going to talk. We're still going to stay real close friends, I have no doubt in my mind, and I know he's going to help me just as I did him."

"It's definitely a main priority for us. We're looking to get something sparked on offense, defense and everything. We're going to come out ready on Saturday."

"I don't feel any pressure at all. The coaches told me they back me and the team supports me. I'll just go out there and play like I'm capable of and hopefully we'll get the win. I'm pretty sure we will."

"I'm still going to stay humble, focused, and calm like I was as a backup."

"I hate to lose. Anytime something big goes on I get real excited."
