With Class of 2006 recruiting complete, the NC State coaching staff has turned their attention to the '07 class. This weekend, DeMatha standout Austin Freeman will be in Raleigh for the Red/White game and here is your chance to catch the five-star prospect in action! Rankings: Freeman is considered by as the No. 6 shooting guard and the No. 24 overall player in the class of 2007. He is also regarded as a five-star prospect.

Sophomore Season Stats: Freeman averaged 13.7 points for DeMatha last year and he may be the key cog for a Stags team that could regain its spot among national prominence this season. When Freeman came into the program, the Zags were rebuilding and finished a disappointing 19-11.

Scouting Report: Strong wing player is capable of doing a lot of things on the court. He can score it in bunches, has tons of composure and his body gets him places inside. Outstanding talent and big time producer.

Recruiting Scene: Freeman's recruitment has picked up after a strong showing on the AAU circuit playing with the talented D.C. Assault squad. He told's Jeff Goodman that, "Maryland, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Virginia and Syracuse constitute the five schools that are the most aggressive in recruiting him while his top five are Syracuse, Georgetown (offer), N.C. State, Miami (offer) and Maryland (offer)."
