Web Run: BC found way to slow speedy NC State

It started on State's first offensive play, when quarterback Marcus Stone slipped and fell. It continued when defensive end Renaldo Moses' feet went out from under him on a critical play near the goal line. All night against Boston College, the Wolfpack struggled to stay upright on the Eagles' wet field.

N.C. State still has bowl hopes -- and, it seems, bowl options. "N.C. State is definitely on our radar screen, and it probably will come down to the Maryland-N.C. State game," said Gary Beck, director of the MPC Computers Bowl. It started on State's first offensive play, when quarterback Marcus Stone slipped and fell. The Eagles play on an artificial surface, yet observers reported the field was being watered about an hour before kickoff. Read More
