    Scouting Report May 5, 2002: (Dave Telep * TheInsidersHoops.com)
At the Nike All-American Camp last July, Tim Morris was a standout. The 6-5 shooting guard displayed plenty of skills including a smooth pull-up, a deep stroke and a penchant for finishing.

Morris is blossoming into one of the best combo guards in the country. "Coach Parker (of the Georgia Stars) is giving me the chance to do it," Morris said of playing both positions. "I always knew I could do it. It's just about getting comfortable."

At Boo, Morris looked more than comfortable in the role. While attacking the rim and draining deep jumpers, he also showcased the ability to play point guard at the high-major level. College recruiters agree. "Some of them wanted me to (play both spots) but now they are more sure."

Since the Boo, Florida has intensified their recruitment of Morris. So has NC State. Notre Dame, Stanford and Georgia Tech have always been in on him.

Morris, while being a big time player, is also a tremendous student.
