"It was real good," Antonio Lowery told Pack Pride. "The environment, the kids... I liked it all.
"My host was Ray Michel. He was cool, we're just alike."
Lowery, considered a three-star prospect by Scout.com, has garnered 22 scholarship offers from programs such as UGA, Pittsburgh, Alabama, Rutgers, USC, Illinois, Indiana, NC State, Michigan State, West Virginia, and Minnesota. His first trip was to Rutgers, and he talked about that visit.
"It's hard to compare, maybe they were equal," Lowery said of his first two official visits. "Rutgers was family-oriented too, and they had some nice facilities like NC State."
Lowery was the leading tackler for this year's Columbus High School team that finished 10-1 and lost in the second round of the state playoffs. He will play in the Dade-Broward game in January as well as take his remaining trips at that time.
"I'm going to take my visits," he said. "I know I'm going to South Carolina, and I need to set that one up."
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker was hesitant to name a leader and believes he will not announce his decision until signing day.
"I don't have a favorite," Lowery said. "I'll pick my college on signing day."
