State has sold approximately 13,500 tickets for the Meineke Car Care Bowl since the Wolfpack's Dec. 31 matchup against Big East foe South Florida was announced last week, State officials said Monday. NCSU assistant athletics director Dick Christy said it was still early to offer an estimate on how many total tickets may be sold for the Charlotte bowl but noted that ticket orders show no sign of slowing down.
