Official Visit Weekend Preview

Pack Pride takes an in-depth look at this weekend's official visitors.

Pack Pride takes a look at the official visitors that are scheduled to be in Raleigh this weekend. Check back with Pack Pride later in the weekend as we gather feedback from this weekend's visitors.

LB Antonio Lowery...6-2, 210 pounds, 4.65 in the 40...Columbus High School, Miami, Fla

Notes...Lowery has been fairly open but schools consistently mentioned are Rutgers, NC State, Georgia, Boston College and South Carolina. The Pack's need at LB and connections to south Florida should make NC State an attractive candidate.

WR Carlos Everett...6-2, 180 pounds, 4.45 in the 40...South Sumter High School, Bushnell, Fla

South Sumter's Carlos Everett races ahead of everyone after a catch in the first half of their 38-35 win over Jacksonville Bolles in Bushnell on Friday. (BOBBY COKER/ORLANDO SENTINEL)

Notes...Few wide receivers in Florida have been more productive in 2005, as he averaged 109.1 yards of total offense per game. He caught 66 passes for 1,280 yards and averaged 7.5 yards on 33 rushing attempts. Everett also scored 18 touchdowns for South Sumter. He is the younger brother of Florida starting linebacker Earl Everett. He likes the Big 3 in Florida as well as NC State. We think State will make a serious push for Everett, and he would make a solid addition to the Class of 2006.

DE/DT Geno Atkins...6-2, 270 pounds, 4.95 in the 40...St Thomas Aquinas, Ft Lauderdale, Fla

Notes...NC State hasn't landed an Aquinas player since Greg Golden but would love to add this talented defender in 2006. State got on him early and hasn't let up. For now, NC State, Auburn, Pittsburgh and Michigan State lead the way.

OL Ryan Wischnefski...6-3, 320 pounds, 4.94 in the 40...Melbourne (Fla) High School

Notes...Wischnefski is a relative unknown on the recruiting trail but has reportedly caught the eye of the Wolfpack staff and they will likely go all out for him this weekend. Wischnefski is a technically sound and relentless offensive lineman. He was arguably the most athletic offensive lineman at's Jacksonville combine, an event that featured UNC commitment Zackery Henderson and top college prospects Ryan Cave and Cruz Barrett.
