Rashad Phillips a 6-foot-4, 210 pound, tight end prospect from Landstown, Va., is a prospect who has seen his recruitment heat up to a boil as we head towards signing day. Phillips has narrowed the field, and he is down to his final two programs.

"Recruiting has really been hectic lately," Phillips said. I am down to my final two schools and they are Syracuse and North Carolina State. I cannot make a decision between the two programs right now. I am completely torn between the two. I hope that my decision does not go all the way until signing day, and I can have a decision pretty soon."

The Scout.com three-star prospect knows what is important to him when deciding on a school, but he thinks that his decision will ultimately come down to a gut feeling.

"There are a lot of differences between the two schools, so it will be hard. I want to be comfortable outside of football, and put myself in a situation to exceed on the field. I am just waiting to feel it, and then I will know that I am going to decide," Phillips reported.

Starting at tight end and defensive end, Phillips finished the year with 23 sacks, 33 catches and six touchdowns. He also blocked five punts and returned two of them for scores.
