Then again, the number "two" can be peculiar. Take the case of Melbourne High offensive lineman Ryan Wischnefski. Two stands for the amount of verbal commitments he has given.
Last week, he told North Carolina State he would play there. Monday night at the Wischnefski home, he told Florida Atlantic coach Howard Schnellenberger he changed his mind and would play for the Owls from Boca Raton.
"The program is definitely on the way," Wischnefski said. "Another deciding factor was depth. Being a competitive guy, I wanted to play as soon as possible. It's also closer to home."
As for N.C. State's reaction, Wischnefski said, "My offensive line coach was really mad. But it wasn't anything against their program or anything."
