The conventional wisdom is that European basketball players are soft. They fade away at the end of big games, don't like to play inside and retreat to the bench after the most minor nick or twinge. If that's actually fact, Ilian Evtimov and Engin Atsur are the exceptions to the rule. Evtimov played 23 minutes after colliding into the boards in front of press row and Atsur recovered from three costly turnovers early to make three hustle plays at the end. N.C.
