Ilian Evtimov is practicing some and getting lots of treatment, and he, too, plans to play. Storylines Abound: ACC tournament is sure to provide twists, turns

When the 53rd annual ACC Men's Basketball Tournament begins Thursday in Greensboro, No. 4 seed NC State will have a bye, which is awarded to the top four teams in the final regular season standings. As a result, the Wolfpack (21-8, 10-6) will open play Friday at 2:30 p.m. against either Florida State or Wake Forest. The fifth-seeded Seminoles and No. 12 Deacons will clash at 2:30 in Thursday's opening round. The Wolfpack Sports Network will begin its coverage at 11:30 on Friday morning and will provide play-by-play of all four quarterfinal games, Saturday's semifinals and Sunday's championship contest. Despite losing its last three games, the Pack finished with 21 wins, the most regular season victories by an NC State team since the 1987-88 campaign. Against its potential opponents during the regular season, the Wolfpack downed Florida State, 86-64, back on February 15. The Pack split its regular season meetings with Wake Forest, posting a 92-82 victory in Raleigh on January 21 before falling to the Deacons on Saturday, 76-63. Read More
