Few players in North Carolina can boast the resume of running back Ben Herlocker.

Not only has he helped lead his team to 32 straight wins, Herlocker was also named MVP of last year's 3AA state championship game. On the season the rising senior rushed for 1,731 yards on 192 carries and scored 32 touchdowns. He also snagged five pass receptions for an additional 70 yards. He finished off the year by being named the Queen City 3A/4A conference offensive player of the year.

With the versatility to potentially play fullback or running back in college, if Herlocker can show that he can consistently run in the 4.5-second range over the summer, he should be a player that numerous colleges keep a close eye on throughout 2006.
