"I'm going to N.C. State on Saturday and UNC on Sunday," said Maddox. "At N.C. State I'm going to their scrimmage, I'll meet with the coaching staff, have an academic meeting, they're going to show us around, and I'll meet some of the players.
"[At North Carolina] it's a visit to meet the coaching staff, see the facilities [and] where the players stay, and I think meet some of the players."
Maddox, a 6-foot 215-pound tailback from Anderson (S.C.) Hanna, has already unofficially visited South Carolina, Auburn, and Clemson. He will revisit South Carolina for their spring game on April 8th and then make inaugural trips to Florida State (April 15th) and Virginia Tech (April 15th).
As seems to be the trend the last few months, this week Maddox added yet another scholarship offer.
"I was getting text messages from Coach Kevin Steele, and he said he wanted me to call because it was really important," said Maddox. "About 30 minutes later, my dad called me and told me he just got off the phone with [Florida State] and that they offered me. I was really excited."
The Seminoles join Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Maryland, N.C. State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech on Maddox's scholarship offers list.
The constant flow of new offers has forced Maddox to renege on his late May announcement date, but has yet to unseat South Carolina as his leader.
"I think I'm going to back it up a little bit till somewhere and June," said Maddox. "South Carolina is still my leader right now."
