The following Wolfpack prospects are expected to be traveling with their AAU teams to the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. Games listed are from pool play; playoffs begin Saturday night and potential pool matchups are listed in the TOC POOLS.

Class of 2006 Signees

(Pool D) South Jersey Select: F Dennis Horner

NCSU Weisiger-Brown -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
South Jersey Select v Pittsburgh JOTS

NCSU Reynolds -- Saturday 2:00 P.M.
South Jersey Select v Arkansas Hawks

N.C. Central (Walker) #2 -- Saturday 7:00 P.M.
New England Playaz v South Jersey Select

Pack Pride Extra: Horner is returning to Raleigh with South Jersey Select after playing in the tournament last year and expect a bunch of Wolfpack fans to turn out tonight and watch him in action. He appears to be leaning towards remaining signed with NC State, and any lingering doubts might be answered this weekend.

Class of 2007 Wolfpack Targets

(Pool O) Worldwide Renegades: F J.J. Hickson

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #1 -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
Worldwide Renegades v Carolina Celtics

Duke Wilson Ct. #1 -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
Worldwide Renegades v Cecil Kirk

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #3 -- Saturday 8:00 P.M.
Worldwide Renegades v North Carolina Gaters

Pack Pride Extra: Hickson might be NC State's top frontcourt target, and he reportedly has a strong relationship with Wolfpack assistant Larry Harris. Regarded as a top 25 prospect, landing Hickson would be huge for the Wolfpack's 2007 class.

(Pool O) Worldwide Renegades: SG Aaron Gilstrap

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #1 -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
Worldwide Renegades v Carolina Celtics

Duke Wilson Ct. #1 -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
Worldwide Renegades v Cecil Kirk

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #3 -- Saturday 8:00 P.M.
Worldwide Renegades v North Carolina Gaters

Pack Pride Extra: Gilstrap is a sleeper prospect who has drawn attention from NC State over the past few months. It is unknown if the Wolfpack is still pursuing him, but expect the coaching staff to track his progress this summer.

(Pool G) Triple Threat: G Jeff Jones

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #2 -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
Triple Threat v New Jersey Elite

Duke Cameron -- Saturday 2:30 P.M.
Triple Threat v GC Ballers

N.C. Central McLendon Gym -- Saturday 7:00 P.M.
Triple Threat v Georgia Hurricanes

Pack Pride Extra: Jones recently decommitted from Maryland, and NC State is expected to be a serious contender for his services. A high-scoring combo guard, Jones could be attracted to the uptempo style Sidney Lowe plans on employing and the wealth of playing time that should be available for any incoming guards.

(Pool K) Illinois Wolves: G/F Evan Turner

Duke Cameron -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Houston Select v Illinois Wolves

UNC Practice Facility -- Saturday 1:30 P.M.
Illinois Wolves v Tallahassee Wildcats

Duke Card Gym -- Saturday 7:00 P.M.
Charlotte Aces v Illinois Wolves

Pack Pride Extra: Turner was a major priority for the previous staff, and he was even close to committing to NC State. Illinois and Wake Forest are also in the mix with Turner, a wiry 6'6 wing known for his versatility on the court.

(Pool B) D.C. Assault: F Julian Vaughn

DUKE Cameron -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
D.C. Assault v Raleigh's Finest

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #1 -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
D.C. Assault v Richmond Squires

UNC Carmichael -- Saturday 6:30 P.M.
D.C. Assault v Rising Stars of America

Pack Pride Extra: Coming off an injury that limited his play this spring, Vaughn will look to impress as he's hoping to land a few more high-major offers. NC State had been in the mix, and he could be another frontcourt option for the Wolfpack.

(Pool J) D-One Sports: G/F Eric Wallace

N.C. Central McLendon Gym -- Friday 6:30 P.M.
D-One Sports v Louisiana Stars

Mount Zion -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
D-One Sports v Warriors Elite

UNC Practice Facility -- Saturday 6:30 P.M.
D-One Sports v Juice All-Stars

Pack Pride Extra: Wallace claimed an offer last summer from the Wolfpack, Wake Forest, and UNC among others, but his inconsistent play may have caused some schools to back off. However, he could be a player NC State pursues, as he is an in-state product blessed with outstanding athleticism.

(Pool J) D-One Sports: F Marshall Moses

N.C. Central McLendon Gym -- Friday 6:30 P.M.
D-One Sports v Louisiana Stars

Mount Zion -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
D-One Sports v Warriors Elite

UNC Practice Facility -- Saturday 6:30 P.M.
D-One Sports v Juice All-Stars

Pack Pride Extra: A high school and AAU teammate of Wallace's, Moses is starting to attract major attention for his play. An inside-outside combo forward, he is ultra-athletic and plays with passion.

(Pool D) Pittsburgh JOTS: PF/C DeJuan Blair

NCSU Weisiger-Brown -- Friday 8:00 P.M.
Pittsburgh JOTS v South Jersey Select

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #3 -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
Pittsburgh JOTS v New England Playaz

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #1 -- Saturday 6:30 P.M.
Pittsburgh JOTS v Arkansas Hawks

Pack Pride Extra: Coming off an ACL injury, Blair is healthy and looking to be a force in the paint for the JOTS. A physical player, Blair is a wide-body and knows where he is best at, around the basket.

(Pool O) NC Gaters: G/F Johnny Thomas

UNC Practice Facility -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
NC Gaters v Cecil Kirk

UNC Carmichael -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
NC Gaters v Carolina Celtics

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #3 -- Saturday 8:00 P.M.
NC Gaters v Worldwide Renegades

Pack Pride Extra: Not many folks know of Thomas, but he will be looking to become a national recruit at the Gibbons Tournament. A strong 6'5 wing from Greensboro Day, he is the top player for the Gaters and is interested in the Wolfpack. One analyst considers him the top in-state player in the 2007 class.

Class of 2008 Wolfpack Targets

(Pool B) D.C. Assault: F Roscoe Davis

DUKE Cameron -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
D.C. Assault v Raleigh's Finest

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #1 -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
D.C. Assault v Richmond Squires

UNC Carmichael -- Saturday 6:30 P.M.
D.C. Assault v Rising Stars of America

Pack Pride Extra: Davis has reportedly been to NC State for an unofficial visit recently, and he is one of the top players in the 2008 class. A long and lean athlete, Davis is pushing 6'10 and might project as a center down the road.

(Pool G) Triple Threat: F Chris Braswell

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #2 -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
Triple Threat v New Jersey Elite

Duke Cameron -- Saturday 2:30 P.M.
Triple Threat v GC Ballers

N.C. Central McLendon Gym -- Saturday 7:00 P.M.
Triple Threat v Georgia Hurricanes

Pack Pride Extra: DeMatha's next great prospect, Braswell is doing his damage for Triple Threat this summer. He has very good skills and is a strong athlete. Expect NC State to be heavily involved with the obvious ties to his high school program.

(Pool O) NC Gaters: C Ty Walker

UNC Practice Facility -- Friday 9:30 P.M.
NC Gaters v Cecil Kirk

UNC Carmichael -- Saturday 11:30 A.M.
NC Gaters v Carolina Celtics

UNC Dean Dome Ct. #3 -- Saturday 8:00 P.M.
NC Gaters v Worldwide Renegades

Pack Pride Extra: A fine student and an outstanding athlete, Walker is still developing and is a work in progress, but the potential is there. He needs to get stronger, but he is already a defensive presence in the paint and will be a high-major recruit.
